Cultural Geography

We went over a power point today called Cultural Geography.  We learned about language and ethnicity. ( we didnt get to religion yet.  We learned that Canada has two major french and English.  I don't remember where in Canada it was but, they wanted to become a new country because they want not be more french then English.  We also learned that Switzerland has 4 major languages.  But surprisingly enough, they manage well together and with very little conflict.  English is language for the word.

Our group of the presentations was terrible.  There was some many mistakes on it it was embarrassing.  All we had to do is look up one or two questions and give the answers to Nick.  Some people didnt look it up and just winged it witch is unacceptable. 

Christopher Columbus

    To begin class, we got back our test.  I honestly forgot that we had a test.  That was my fault for not beginning ready for the test.  I should have studied and should have done my blogs right.  Anyway, we went into our next topic.  We have Christopher Columbus.  I answered my question I had to do and sent it to Nick.  I guess you will see our progress tomorrow in class.

   The test would have been easy if i was doing my blogs right.  I didn't have like any notes on my blog like I was told to.  I now know DO YOUR BLOG HOW YOUR TOLD!  I will make it easier in the long run.  I was stupid not to do it correctly but, i know now you never know when something will pop out like this.

        I think Red Cross is a legit fundraiser. They mission statement is "The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors."  It is basically a group of volenters that help everyone. It is very easy to help and will help the Sudan people making money.

Our plan

    One Foundation that our group got together were Red Cross.  Red Cross mission is connect people from all over the world together.  A reason they might help if so a mother had to go to America and never came back, they would bring the whole family back to America.  They Also help with blood issues.  Anther foundation we used was The lost boys foundation of Nashville.  This helps with the Sudan people getting jobs in America.

the end of the movie

    At the end of the movie all the men had jobs and making money for the people still in Sudan.  By the way, I just friend request John Bul on Facebook.  But anyways,  John Bul is the president of the John Dau foundation (his foundation) for raising money for his people still in Africa.  He has become very successful in America and made a huge difference to his people in Africa.
